About IPXI
The Intellectual Property Exchange International, Inc. (IPXI), headquartered in Chicago, is the world’s first financial exchange with an intellectual property (IP) focus.  IP is emerging as the pre-eminent asset class of the 21st century, with a market value estimated at over $5 trillion in the United States alone.

The IPXI marketplace will allow owners of IP to more efficiently monetize their IP assets.  Additionally, for the first time, IP owners will have access to powerful risk management tools to hedge their exposures.  On the buy-side, investors will be able to access a new universe of trading, investment, and arbitrage opportunities.

By creating a liquid market for IP assets, implementing contract standardization, and providing market participants with access to market data, IPXI will facilitate a deeper understanding of the economics of innovation.

IPXI will launch its first trading products in Q1 2009.
