Membership Levels

Founding Members - Open until first trading date of ULR contracts

A Founding Member agrees to place patent portfolios having a minimum threshold anticipated market value as determined by the Executive Committee on IPXI as ULR contracts, or agrees to consider purchase of all relevant ULR contracts offered on the Exchange. Founding Members participate in the formulation of the IPXI ULR contract Rulebook.

Regular Members

IPXI encourages companies interested in further developing the rules and operation of the Exchange to join as Regular Members. Regular Membership is open for application to persons, corporate entities, universities, or laboratories desiring to Sponsor or purchase ULR Contracts. Regular Membership is required to Sponsor a ULR Contract. Regular Membership includes eligibility to be appointed to any of IPXI’s committees. Regular Membership includes the ability to publicize its Regular Member status and be recognized on IPXI’s website and in IPXI press releases and publications. Regular Members make no commitment to issue ULR contracts. The purchase of Regular Membership does not include an ownership interest in IPXI Holdings, LLC, Intellectual Property Exchange International, Inc., or any of their affiliates.

Associate Members

Any law firm, IP Advisor, underwriter, valuation firm, prior art search firm, broker, or other IP/market service provider that will not Sponsor or purchase ULR contracts may apply for IPXI Associate Membership. Associate Membership includes nearly all of the benefits of Regular Membership, including access to certain ULR Contract Initial Offering information and the ability to publicize their IPXI Associate Member status. An Associate Member may not Sponsor or purchase ULR Contracts. The purchase of an Associated Membership does not include an ownership interest in IPXI Holdings, LLC, Intellectual Property Exchange International, Inc. or any of their affiliates. In purchasing an Associate Membership, Associate Members agree to abide by all rules and guidelines described in the ULR Rulebook.

Daily Members

A Daily Member is an entity that has entered a binding Daily Member Agreement under which it has agreed to become a Member of IPXI solely with respect to specifically identified ULR contracts only and for a limited time.
