Auditing, Arbitration & Enforcement

The special purpose vehicle (SPV), coordinated by IPXI, is responsible for periodically auditing the consumption of purchased ULR contracts, arbitrating ULR contract disputes between market participants, and seeking approval from IPXI to convert to enforcement status. In the event an enforcement action is deemed necessary, IPXI will coordinate these activities with the goal that infringers buy the required number of ULR contracts in the primary or secondary market.

IPXI's goal is to avoid court litigation, with its associated delays, expense and uncertainties, and to adopt market-based solutions for dispute resolution.
